From the team behind 500+ active clients and 450+ home care agencies nationally

The mechanics behind the coverage.

Every open shift moves through the same path — detected, matched, contacted, confirmed — with a person able to step in at any point along the way.

Monitoring

A shift is assigned. June watches for a callout or a missed confirmation — nothing else happens until one shows up.

Outreach

The gap is live. June works through the bench to find a qualified replacement.

Escalated

Outreach pauses and the shift goes to a live scheduler with everything so far attached.

Resolved

Confirmed and logged. The caregiver is notified and the assignment is on record.

Most gaps get caught before anyone notices.

A caregiver doesn't confirm

If an assigned caregiver hasn't confirmed within your set window, June lines up a backup while your scheduler follows up directly.

A callout comes in

A cancellation, a logged callout or a missed clock-in moves the shift straight into outreach.

A thin bench gets flagged

If a client's pool of qualified caregivers drops below a safe level, June flags it early rather than after the fact.

Not everyone gets contacted in the same order.

Before anyone is contacted, June checks the basics: certification, language, any client preference, and whether reaching out would push someone past an authorized-hours limit. Fail one of those and a caregiver never enters the pool.

From there, caregivers who've worked with this client before with a strong track record go first. Reliable caregivers new to the client come next. Everyone else is contacted only if those groups don't pan out — weighted by hours already worked that week and distance to the client.

How fast it moves depends on how urgent the shift is.

Standard

Shift is hours out. Text first; a call only goes out if there's no reply.

Urgent

Shift is getting close. Text and call go out together.

Critical

Shift starts soon. Call comes first, with a text as backup.

Every voice call offers a simple choice: accept, decline, or stay on the line for a person. Anything other than a clear yes or no puts a live scheduler on the phone.

Every reply gets read and double-checked.

Replies are sorted into accepted, declined, needs clarification, or no response. If something looks like an acceptance but June isn't confident in the read, the shift doesn't lock — it's held for a scheduler to confirm. A misread never quietly becomes an uncovered shift.

When it hands off to a person.

  • Every eligible caregiver has been contacted and none confirmed.
  • A shift is close to starting and still open.
  • Several unclear replies in a row suggest something is off with the shift details.
  • A caregiver would go past an authorized-hours limit — June stops and names the rule.
  • A caregiver asks for a person, or stays on the line during a call.
  • Your scheduler takes over with one click, whatever state the shift is in.

Then it closes the loop.

Logged automatically

The confirmed caregiver is written back to your system of record.

Caregiver gets confirmed

A text goes out with client, address, time and anything else they need.

Nothing disappears

The full outreach thread stays attached to the shift for as long as you need it.
